Emily has been aware of the presence of Spirit and able to see auras since she was a small child. Despite mediumship running in her family, she never anticipated working with the Spirit herself. At the age of 15, Emily attended her local Spiritualist Church in the South East of England, and it was there that her journey began, after a visiting medium told her that the work of Spirit was her life’s calling.
Too young to join the development circle, she was nonetheless encouraged by the local community and began exploring her psychic abilities through cartomancy, the old art of divination, and reading literature on psychic phenomena and Spirituality.
At 17, she was invited to a healing circle, where she learned the fundamentals of meditation and unfolded her Healing Mediumship.
Emily later took a break to have children and gain valuable life experience, before receiving the call to return to Spirit when she was invited to join a home circle in her late 20’s. As a typical Saggitarius with a Saggitarius rising sign, Emily took a more free spirited journey of discovering her mediumship potential, by exploring a more intuitive and Spirit lead path. The rest, as they say, is history…
Her Spirituality is underpinned not only by the relationship she has with Spirit, but by their guidance and inspiration. She firmly believes that the aim of mediumship is not to remove any fear of death, but to awaken the living. Mediumship demonstrates that man is deathless, the indestructible light, unbound and eternal. Emily philosophises that this light is the power and proof of a great creative force, which moves through us and for us in everyday living. Through her teaching and Spiritual discipline, she helps others to explore and express this power to enhance their own spirituality.
Emily’s personal spiritual journey has evolved into exploring trance mediumship, and she now sits regularly for its development. Her more recent interests of study include dowsing and understanding how particular earth energies and geographical stress impact our everyday living.
