Through exploring the spiritual discipline of stillness, Emily developed the ability to achieve deeper states of meditation and her love for spiritual philosophy.
Her journey into this practice began when a friend introduced her to the traditions of Quakerism. Quakers believe that in true stillness we may experience a direct and personal communion with God, and that through this alignment achieved through stillness, we become open to divine inspiration and guidance. It was during a deep state of spiritual awareness, that she received guidance to practice a rhythmic prayer, which transformed both her life perspective and her mediumship.
To this day, Emily begins and ends each day in stillness, holding the belief that the first and last conversation of the day should be with the Divine.
Emily understands the transformative power of both prayer and stillness, but also the difficulties trying to achieve it in todays busy world. Through her Stillness Circle, she gently guides others to quieten the mind, relax the body, in preparation for a more more enlightening state of inner awareness where we discover both connection and conversation with God,
